Prabhas is an Indian actor known for his work primarily in Telugu cinema. He was born on October 23, 1979, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. His full name is Venkata Satyanarayana Prabhas Raju Uppalapati. Prabhas comes from a film background, as his father U. Suryanarayana Raju was a famous producer.

He gained widespread fame and recognition for his portrayal of the lead character Baahubali in the epic film franchise “Baahubali: The Beginning” (2015) and “Baahubali: The Conclusion” (2017). The films were directed by S.S. Rajamouli and became the highest-grossing Indian films of all time.
