Anupam Roy is a multi-talented Indian singer-songwriter, music director, composer, guitarist, and playback singer hailing from Kolkata, West Bengal. Born on 29 March 1982, he made his debut in the music industry with the songs “Amake Amar Moto Thakte Dao” and “Benche Thakar Gaan,” which were featured on the soundtrack of the Bengali film Autograph in 2010.

Anupam Roy has since become a prominent figure in the Bengali music scene, contributing as a composer, lyricist, and singer for numerous Bengali films. His compositions are known for their soulful melodies and meaningful lyrics. In 2015, he made his Bollywood debut as a music composer with the critically acclaimed film Piku.
