Biswajit Mahapatra gained recognition as a participant in Indian Idol Season 10 and has primarily worked as a playback singer in the Odia film industry, also known as Ollywood.

After his participation in the reality show “Voice of Odisha,” Biswajit received offers from the Odia film industry and started contributing to Odia films from 2012 onwards. Additionally, he has released several solo albums.

In 2016, Biswajit Mahapatra further showcased his talent by participating in the Indian Idol reality show. His participation in both “Voice of Odisha” and “Indian Idol” helped him gain wider recognition and expand his reach as a singer.
