Chandan Shetty, born on September 17, 1989, is an Indian composer, lyricist, and pop singer known for his work in Kannada films. He gained popularity as a solo artist with his Kannada singles, including “Halagode,” “3 Peg,” “Chocolate Girl,” “Tequila,” “Fire,” and “Party Freak.” These songs showcased his unique style and energetic performances, making him a favorite among the Kannada music audience.

Shetty began his journey in the music industry in 2012 as a lyricist and assistant music director for the movie “Alemaari,” working alongside renowned music director Arjun Janya. He then went on to contribute to the music of various films such as “Varadanayaka,” “Power,” “Chakravyuha,” and “Bhajarangi,” showcasing his versatility and talent in composing and writing music.

In addition to his musical career, Chandan Shetty also gained attention through his participation in the reality show “Bigg Boss Kannada Season 5,” where he emerged as the winner. During the show, he got engaged to his fellow contestant Niveditha Gowda, and the couple later tied the knot on February 25, 2020.
