Deven Bhojani is an accomplished Indian actor and director who has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry. Born on November 25, 1969, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Bhojani has showcased his versatile talent across various mediums, including television, theatre, and films.

 

Bhojani initially gained recognition through his role as Gattu in the immensely popular Indian sitcom “Malgudi Days” (1986). However, he rose to widespread fame with his portrayal of the lovable and goofy character Gattu in the television series “Dekh Bhai Dekh” (1993-1994), which became a cult classic.

 

Not limited to acting, Bhojani has also made a name for himself as a skilled director. He has directed several successful television shows, including “Sarabhai vs Sarabhai” (2004-2006), “Khichdi” (2002-2005), and “Baa Bahoo Aur Baby” (2005-2010). His directorial work is known for its sharp wit, relatable characters, and comedic timing.

 

Apart from his television ventures, Deven Bhojani has also made notable appearances in Bollywood films such as “Sarfarosh” (1999) and “Bhool Bhulaiyaa” (2007). His performances have always been marked by his impeccable comic timing and ability to effortlessly switch between various genres.
