Riya Sen is an Indian film actress and model. She was born on January 24, 1981, in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Riya comes from a family with a strong connection to the film industry; her mother is actress Moon Moon Sen, and her grandmother was legendary actress Suchitra Sen.

Riya Sen made her acting debut as a child artist in the Bengali film “Vishkanya” in 1991. She then appeared in various commercials and music videos before transitioning to full-fledged acting in Hindi and Bengali films.
