Shruti Haasan, born on January 28, 1986, is an Indian actress, singer, and musician who primarily works in the South Indian film industries, including Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi cinema. She is the daughter of renowned actors Kamal Haasan and Sarika Thakur.

Shruti Haasan made her acting debut in 2009 with the Bollywood film “Luck” and simultaneously entered the Telugu film industry with “Anaganaga O Dheerudu” in 2011. She gained widespread recognition and critical acclaim for her performances in movies like “Gabbar Singh” (2012), “Race Gurram” (2014), and “Srimanthudu” (2015).

In addition to Telugu films, Shruti Haasan has acted in Tamil movies such as “7aum Arivu” (2011), “Vedalam” (2015), and “Singam 3” (2017). She has also made appearances in Hindi films like “Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji” (2011), “Ramaiya Vastavaiya” (2013), and “Welcome Back” (2015).
