Varsha Usgaonkar

Bollywood Female Actor

Varsha Usgaonkar is an Indian actress who primarily works in the Marathi and Hindi film industries. She was born on February 28, 1968, in Goa, India. Varsha has acted in numerous films and television shows, earning acclaim for her performances.

 

Varsha Usgaonkar made her acting debut with the Marathi film “Gojiri” in 1982. She gained popularity with her performances in Marathi films like “Saglikade Bombabomb” (1985) and “Ek Hota Vidushak” (1992), for which she received critical acclaim.

 

In the Hindi film industry, Varsha made her debut with the film “Beta” in 1992, starring alongside Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit. Her role as Saraswati in the film earned her a Filmfare nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She went on to act in several Hindi films, including “Gardish” (1993), “Krishna” (1996), and “Gair” (1999).

 

Varsha Usgaonkar has also worked in television. She appeared in the popular TV series “Kabhi Souten Kabhi Saheli” (2001) and “Astitva…Ek Prem Kahani” (2002-2006), where she played the lead role of Dr. Simran Mathur.

Apart from acting, Varsha is also a trained classical singer. She has showcased her singing talent in some of her films and has released a few music albums.
